Landslide affects building, road, portion of WW-II in Kohima

Kohima | May 25 : A landslide has affected the residential buildings and circular road at Officer’s Hill, above the construction site of diversion road in Kohima. The landslide has badly damaged an official quarter of Commissioner & Secretary K.T. Sukhalu below Raj Bhavan while a residential building of Opposition leader Tokheho was also partially affected. Following the damage of official building, Sukhalu was compelled to abandon the building. Besides, the wall and circular road also got damage at the same location.  Further, some portions of 2nd World War Cemetery at the western side have also been affected.
