MOKOKCHUNG (MExN): Langpangkong Senso Telongjem, Mokokchung, celebrated its Silver jubilee at Town Hall, Mokokchung with N. Panger Jamir, Director, Employment and Craftsman training, Nagaland Kohima as the Chief Guest. Taka Masa MLA was the Guest of honour. Talinungsang MLA and Jungshilemba, Chairman, Marcofed and DPDB & DRDA, Mokokchung, could not attend the function due to prior appointment.
It may be mentioned that the three MLAs mentioned have been elected from Langpangkong constituencies and they all had contributed towards hosting of the jubilee. Taka Masa MLA Speaking at the Jubilee function called upon all concerned citizens of Langpangkong to work for making Tuli town as Dimapur city which would ultimately benefit the people of Langpangkong.
He also appreciated the system of using ‘Tsukong’ among friends of Langpangkong range which is very rarely used by Ao friends of other range. The Ao Area is divided into 6 ranges and Langpangkong range is one among them.
