It's not clear if the rockers will be inducting friends or heroes or performing at the ceremony on 8 April (16), but this year's honourees include Chicago, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, the Steve Miller Band and N.W.A. Ulrich is a clear favourite to induct Deep Purple after kickstarting a campaign to get the heavy rockers into the Hall of Fame in 2014. "I’m not gonna get into the politics or all that stuff, but I got two words to say: Deep Purple...," he told Rolling Stone. “Seriously, people, Deep Purple. Two simple words in the English language."
