LBA meet held at Sainik School Punglwa

Peren, May 21 (MExN): The XV Local Board Administration was held at Sainik School Punglwa on May 11 under the Chairmanship of Maj Gen Deepak Saxena, VSM, Chief of Staff, HQ 3 Corps and Chairman, LBA.  

The board deliberated upon the issues pertaining to the infrastructure projects in progress, development of school and steps taken by the school for improvement of NDA intake of the cadets.   Capt Sanjay Gaekwad, Principal, briefed the members on the projects, the financial grants and the support being received from the Ministry of Defence, Sainik Schools Society, Govt of Nagaland, and HQ 3 Corps.   The meeting was also attended by Brig SV Devasthali, BGS (Info Sys), HQ 3 Corps, Sqn Ldr Sanjeev Chaudhary, Vice Principal, Pollem Tep, Addl Director (School Education) & Nodal Officer, Advocate Zhasakhoto Vupru, Parents’ Rep, Shivam Verma, IAS, SDO (Civil), Peren and Er Ketuoselie Kenguruse, SDO, PWD(H) Edn Div.   The Chairman also inaugurated NDA Cell and visited ongoing projects sites. He also interacted with the cadets advising them to study hard.   Maj Gen Saxena, who will be relinquishing the COS position, was also bade farewell by the School.
