The health team which conducted the free health camp at Longkong village on June 11.

Mokokchung, June 12 (MExN): A free health camp was held at Longkong village to commemorate the centenary celebration of Longkong Baptist Church on June 11.
The health camp was organised by the office of the Mokokchung Chief Medical Officer in collaboration with Impur Christian Hospital and Longkong Baptist Church, according to a press release on Sunday.
The team for the health camp was led by Mongsenyimti Medical Officer Dr Maongkala and different specialist doctors from IMDH, Changtongya and Chuchuyimlang, different technicians from Sabangya, Changtongya and IMDH, while the Impur Christian Hospital team was led by Dr S Akaba Longchar, ANMs, tutors and student nurses, the release stated.
The activities rendered during the free health camp included screening of all the patients for non-communicable diseases (NCD) by the staff of Impur Christian Hospital; basic diagnostic tests for blood, sugar and malaria; as well as testing done through glass slide by the National Vector Borne Diseases staff along with ASHAs.
As per the release, a total of 131 glass smears were prepared by ASHAs and 35 by MSW. Along with this, various cases of dental treatments and tooth extractions, general medicine, ENT hearing tests, Ortho, Eye/Ophthalmic, and Ayush screening were done, and free spectacles were issued as per the need. Free dispensing of medicine to all the patients and preparation of Ayushman cards for beneficiaries were done by the Impur Christian Hospital.
Awareness and IEC materials were handed over to the patients by National Leprosy and IEC team. A total of 167 patients attended the Health Camp, the release stated.
The programme was chaired by Imkong Aier, Pastor, Longkong Baptist Church and welcome speech was delivered by Lepden, Chairperson, Longkong Village Council.
