Bharatiya Janata Party Wokha Unit conducted introductory programme of Kazheto Kinimi, Advisor, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Government of Nagaland and Legislator In-Charge of Wokha District cum launching of Wokha District Tour. The event was held at BJP Office, Wokha on February 7.

Advisor Kazheto Kinimi in his speech commended the party workers for their active role in bolstering the party's presence in the district. He emphasised the importance of consistency and dedication, urging party members to work together cohesively and remain optimistic about achieving better results and growth.

Kinimi elaborated on the concept of leadership and in-charge roles, highlighting that it is not solely the responsibility of leaders but requires collective efforts to streamline the interests of all individuals. He emphasised that everyone is responsible for the district and the progress of the entire party, urging party workers not to solely rely on assigned individuals for responsibilities.

Thomas Magh, Chief Spokesperson of BJP Nagaland and In-Charge of Wokha District emphasised the purpose of the gathering and the importance of unity within the party. He highlighted the organizational aspects and stressed the significance of love and dedication towards the party for its growth.

Magh underscored the responsibility of BJP karyakartas to serve the people, the party, and the nation, emphasizing the need to focus on grassroots service to truly serve the nation. Additionally, he spoke on the coalition partnership with NDPP, encouraging mutual support and cooperation between the parties to effectively navigate challenges and share successes.

Bendang Yanger, the spokesperson for BJP Nagaland and in charge in his short speech called upon party workers to aim for a majority status. He stressed the importance of hard work to broaden the party's reach and gain sufficient support. Yanger also pointed out the need for unity within the Lotha community and encouraged party members to foster cohesion. Furthermore, he emphasized the value of grassroots initiatives and leveraging social media platforms for effective outreach efforts.

The programme was chaired by Longshithung Kithan, General Secretary, invocation by Vitoho Swu, Pastor, SABAK, welcome address delivered by L Zaremo Kikon, President, BJP Wokha Unit, Special number by Sojano Tsopoe and vote of thanks by Elithung Ovung, V/President.
