Dimapur, April 25 (MExN): The Naga Students Federation (NSF) is pained that a petty argument between some youths was blown out of proportion leading to the tumult in Wungram colony in Dimapur. Condemning the ‘ugly and unwarranted’ development, an NSF note reminded that any misunderstanding between individuals should not trigger communal hatred. A sense of Naga traditional practices of resolving problems could have prevailed. “Nagas need to learn how to live above tribal horizon to reach common destinations, which is dear to lose for the Nagas” it stated. Appealing to all to exercise restraint to make heal the wounds, the NSF also urged the authorities to check any possible reoccurrence of such unrest as well as rehabilitate the displaced people at the earliest. The NSF called upon the people to extend all possible humanitarian assistance to the affected.
