Lebinuo Medoze Sano was on Tuesday declared the winner of Naga Chef Season 12, which concluded at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, as part of the Hornbill Festival 2025.
Sano, who hails from the Angami community, is self-employed and holds a graduate degree from Kohima College, Kohima, and a postgraduate degree in Rural Development from the University of Science and Technology, Riboi, Meghalaya.
In her personal statement, Sano described herself as “adaptable, compassionate, and independent,” adding that she loves to explore and experience new things. “To me, the kitchen is not just a room — it is the heart of the home. Cooking is an act of love; every meal is a gift for the soul and one of the greatest gifts you can give to your loved ones,” she stated.
The winner of Naga Chef Season 12 receives a cash award of Rs 3 lakh. The event was managed by Synergy Group Enterprise with support from the Tourism Department, Government of Nagaland.
