WOKHA, OCTOBER 25 (MExN): The second edition of the Legacy Futsal Tournament 2023 was held on October 23 and 24 at Legacy Futsal Arena in Etsuchukha, Wokha.
In an electrifying final match, Bakchod FC emerged as champions, defeating Ben FC, who secured the runner-up position. The final score was 7-3. Individual excellence was awarded to Rashamo Murry for the Player of the Tournament. The highest goal-scorer was Hatsabemo Ezung, and Benri Tungoe was named the Best Goalkeeper, a press release issued by the tournament convener informed.
Wokha District Football Association (WDFA), President Samuel Ezung and Aremo Kithan, Chairman of Etsutchukha Colony graced the occasion as special guests.
Legacy Futsal Arena was founded with a vision to provide a FIFA-approved European Astroturf facility for the football community in Wokha. The organizers aim to inspire a legacy of sporting excellence for present and future generations, the press release added.
