
Dimapur, March 23 (MExN): The Dimapur District Legal Services Authority (DDLSA) conducted a legal awareness programme at Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS) to educate the students about rights.
Ajongba Imchen, Secretary DDLSA and Chief Judicial Magistrate in his keynote address encouraged the students to know their rights and to help create a corruption free society. He spoke about the importance of the students knowing their rights since they are the “most powerful citizens of the country.”
The programme was presided over by DDLSA Panel Lawyer, Dzüvinou Chadi. Panel Lawyer, Sentimenla spoke on Right to Information, Panel Lawyer Zuchempeni spoke about cyber crime and Panel Lawyer Kumchuba spoke on Consumer Rights.
The programme was well attended by over 450 students along with the staff and Vice Principle, Patricia Zhimomi.
