Chozuba, September 16 (MExN): The district administration, Phek, will organise an awareness and sensitisation programme on the legal rights and protection of women and children at Vamuzo Memorial Town Hall, Chozuba, on September 18 at 11 AM.
The programme will be held under Mission Shakti in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Phek, under the aegis of the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Zapuno Khatso will deliver the keynote address. District Mission Coordinator, DHEW, Vileno K Thisa, will highlight Mission Shakti schemes and programme components for women, while Centre Administrator, Sakhi One Stop Centre, Phek, Menu-u Tsuhah, will speak on OSC services.
Retainer Lawyer, Phek DLSA, Sekhotso Rokha, will deliver a lecture on provisions of the POCSO Act. A special number will be presented by Transcend Voice. EAC Meluri Dr Cthitu Nienu, NCS, will chair the programme and deliver the closing remarks, the State DIPR informed.
