Phek, August 1 (MExN): The Phek District Legal Services Authority (PDLSA) in collaboration with Kalos Society, Pfutsero organised a legal literacy awareness programme on July 30 at Baptist School, Pfutsero. The programme was attended by public leaders, school teachers, DIET Pfutsero Trainees and light-minded people of Pfutsero.
In the introduction, Kupelhi Losou, Kalos Director, briefed the importance of Rights. Wezote Kreo, Convener ACAUT Pfutsero highlighted the significance of ACAUT. Speaking on the occasion, Longshi Ezung, Chairman, PDLSA, District & Sessions Judge stressed on the importance of Civil Action and Motor Vehicle Acts. Pfukhrulhi Khupfuh, Panel Lawyer PDLSA spoke on the significance of Right to Information Act RTI). Ajongba Imchen, Secretary PDLSA/Civil Judge (Jr) spoke on the topic OMBUDSMAN & Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012(POCSO).
