Dimapur, September 23 (MExN): Dimapur District Legal Services Authority (DDLSA) in collaboration with Criminal Justice Fellowship Program, Tata Institute of Social Sciences held a one day legal literacy program at Yemhi Memorial College on September 23.
The session was chaired by Advocate Sentimenla, who introduced the programme. Makhan Chetia, Principal of the college thanked the organisers for choosing the college to impart legal awareness.
DDLSA Panel Lawyers Vimeno, Moatila, Kekhrieleu, Dzuvinuo, Khumchuba, Zuchumpeni spoke on various topics like Right to Information, Cyber Crime, Anti Ragging, among others.
Criminal Justice Fellow, Nikita Engheepi ended the program by stressing on the importance of legal literacy among the public. It was followed by an interactive session with the students.
