Kohima, July 18 (MExN): The NPF Legislature Party organized Legislators' Fellowship Programme in Kohima on July 18. Guest speaker of the Fellowship, Rev. Robert Kikon preached on the theme, ‘Parenting the next generation in weakness.’ While referring to 2 Corinthians 11:30, Robert said, if one must boast, it must be of the things that shows one's weaknesses. “When we bring our weaknesses before Jesus, he gives us relief,” added Robert, Pastor of Father’s House Church based in Dimapur. “God has a plan for you and that is why he has seated you in the highest seat of the State,” he further told the legislators. Kikon spoke on the importance of building a strong spiritual relationship with God while referring to scriptures like 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, Malachi 4:6 and Isaiah 58:6-12. The Fellowship was led by Toyang Changkong Chang, while Hukavi Zhimomi invoked God’s blessing, and Nuklutoshi read out Jeremiah 29:11-14 from the Holy Bible. It ended with C. Apok Jamir delivering the benediction prayer.
