
Kohima, March 5 (MExN): Nagaland Law & Justice and Land Revenue, Advisor TN Mannen said that Naga Political issue is getting dimmer and dimmer, and urged to renew for early settlement, which is honourable inclusive and acceptable to all.
Participating in the discussion on Motion of Thanks on Governor’s Address at the sixth session of 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) on March 4, Mannen pointed out that our Naga brothers are becoming further divided. He urged everyone to rededicate and strive for unity.
On employment sector, he said that employment to every youth will not be possible. He suggested other alternative like sports facilities to be taken up, where the government should provide better and more facilities and trainings to encourage and build up the sportsman spirit to our upcoming youths.
MLA Dr Neisatuo Mero mentioned that the Health & Family Welfare Department plays an important role and with the introduction of Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) and Chief Minister’s Motor Operation Theatre (CMMT) have benefited many patients and the people of the State
He also mentioned that with the Initiative of Chief Minister and the team led by MLA, Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhutso operated a total number of 21 patients at the Community Health Centre, Pfutsero. He also mentioned that the government has also created avenues for the medical students by bringing about the long awaited medical college which has open doors to pursue MBBS in our own state
He mentioned that in the power sector the government took up many programs under the initiative of the Minister for Power and the department following the launching of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana scheme which will save money and generate clean energy for consumers and its low maintenance cost and reduce the use of fossil fuels and combat climate change.
MLA Dr Sukhato A Sema, participating in the discussion, expressed gratitude to the Department of Agriculture, AH&VS, Horticulture, Food and Civil Supplies, Geology and Mining, Power Department, PWD, CAWD and H&FW.
He also emphasized the urgent need to bring a resolution to the long-pending Nagaland political issue.
