Longleng, April 15 (MExN): A multiplex giant rainwater harvesting structure at Alayung, Longleng was inaugurated by Tiakala Ao, General Manager, NABARD, Nagaland Regional Office on April 12.
The multiplex structure was constructed under the initiative of LEMSACHENLOK, a community development society embracing rural community services in the area of community development, community biodiversity conservation, Alijo Cademia-empowering wholistic education in rural settings, rural community health services, and other sustainable livelihoods.
The multiplex structure integrates waiting shed, meeting hall, storing cabinet, marketing stall, rain water storing reservoir and a toilet facilities, an update received here stated.
The inauguration was done in the presence of Chairman and Team Leader LEMSACHENLOK, Y Nuklu Phom, council members of Alayung and also the women group.
After the inauguration, the GM had an interaction with the community leaders on up-scaling and augmenting community services, reaching out to other communities.
The General Manger was accompanied by Amarjit, DDM, Mokokchung, NABARD.
