Mokokchung, March 30 (MExN): Lenjeter, a monthly Ao magazine, has announced scholarships for students studying in Nagaland. One of the objectives of the magazine is to promote and work towards the development of the indigenous languages of Nagaland. Along this path, the magazine has decided to award five students a scholarship of Rs 500/- per month for an academic year.
The scholarship for 2016-2017 is divided into following categories:
(a) Two Class X (ten) scholarships; students studying Ao subject in Class X are eligible.
(b) One Class X (ten) scholarship; non-Aos studying Ao subject in Class X are eligible.
(c) One BA (Ao) 3rd and 4th semester scholarship; students who are appearing the 2nd semester exam and who will be studying Ao in 3rd and 4th semester can apply.
(d) One BA (Tenyidie) 3rd and 4th scholarship; Tenyidie students who are appearing the 2nd semester exam can apply.
The application form and instructions will be published in the forthcoming Lenjeter magazine (April issue).
