Kohima, June 27 (MExN): The office of the Lerie Panchayat, Kohima has reminded all the residents of the colony to adhere to the resolutions mentioned below.
A press release from Shikato Sumi, Secretary, Lerie Panchayat informed that removal and shifting of pipes along the drainage and inside the hume pipes should be completed on or before July 15 without fail. In case of failure to comply with the order, the Panchayat will cut the pipes and remove them during the construction of drainage.
It was also stated that any materials piled/stocked along the road side should be shifted to own location immediately. All the residents were further reminded not to release septic tank, except within the specified time and season. Meanwhile, residents of the colony were requested to dispose off the garbage only during the arrival of the garabge truck and not pile them on the road side before or after that.
The release warned that failure to comply with the resolutions will invite heavy fines.
