‘Let’s not harp on negative propaganda’

DIMAPUR, APRIL 22 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) today called for being more pragmatic in engaging positive and beneficial result-oriented mindset by “reflecting on the consequences of one’s deeds, rather than harping over negative and illogical propagandas.” Wrongly branding a person or government as a terrorist without knowing it implies may bequeath to Nagas an ugly image, the organization’s MIP joint secretary Ghukato said in a release. “National principles cannot be weighed against nor bargained with impulsive and incongruous ideologies and definitions, for the sacrifices and heritage of the Nagas’ identity exceeds beyond the status of all self vested materialism,” he said.  He further said “it is evidently transparent of persistent tenacity and obstinacy by the detractors’ in their disorientation and repeated falsification of history and events to smear the nation’s image in the process of garnering lost trust and support.”
