Livingstone Foundation International College students during their visit to Nagaland Legislative Assembly on March 18.

Kohima, March 19 (MExN): The Department of Political Science, Livingstone Foundation International (LFI) College visited the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on March 18 as part of their curriculum. The field trip comprised of 35 students and faculty members.
Assembly staffs guided the team around the campus. The students were shown inside the Assembly Hall and the proceedings of the house were explained in detail. They interacted with and posed queries to the officers in charge. They visited the Chief Minister's Office chamber and office; Legislators’ Home and also the NLA Library.
“Visiting the legislative assembly and secretariat enhanced students' understanding of democracy, governance, and citizenship, emphasizing the importance of civic participation, the electoral process, and the significance of government institutions in a democratic society. Moreover, the visit provided students with insights into Nagaland's rich cultural heritage and unique history,” an update from the LFI College stated.
