Peren, September 8 (MExN): The Liangmai Council (N) on Tuesday appealed to all the heads of departments within Tening Division to resume office functioning at the earliest.
The Council cited the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peren’s notification on September 3 which had ordered the mandatory functioning of the offices with roster system of 50% staff strength.
It added that after prolonged lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many official activities have stagnated, due to which the general public has been affected the most. In this regard, it appealed for the offices to start functioning at the earliest.
Further, the Council acknowledged the Additional Deputy Commissioner Tening for his services rendered towards Tening Division during the pandemic.
