DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 11 (MExN): Limatola Ao from Nagaland will lead the North-East Zone team as Captain for the Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T-20 Trophy which is scheduled at Lucknow from November 24 to December 4. Three other players from Nagaland namely Sentilemla Imsong, Sariba Khan and Jyoti Thapa are also part of the 15 member NE Zone squad, a press release issued by Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) Honorary Secretary and Convenor for NE Zone, Hyunilo Anilo Khing informed on Saturday.
Wangshila Jamir will also travel with the Women’s NE Zone team as their team Physio. The team will be led by Sonam Palden Bhutia as the Head Coach and Baiahun Mylliemngap as the Manager.
The North East Zone is a conglomeration of 6 North-East States Cricket Associations namely, Sikkim CA, Nagaland CA, Arunachal CA, Meghalaya CA, Manipur CA and CA Mizoram.
The Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T-20 trophy is to be played on league cum knockout basis where the following 6 Zones- North Zone, South Zone, East Zone, West Zone, Central Zone and North-East Zone will compete for India’s premier domestic title.
