A lineman of the Department of Power, Nagaland (DoPN) succumbed to an accidental electrocution in Dimapur on September 3. The incident occurred around 1:00 pm at Metha colony near the Sub-urban Police Station, informed a DoPN official. According to the official, the deceased was attending to a line complaint reportedly during load-shedding hours. The deceased lineman responded to the complaint alone and had not informed the Control Room reportedly. He was on the pole when the power came back on, the official said. He was identified as Sandesh Nunisa and hailed from Doyapur.
