Linguistic Minority Forum of Nagaland calls on Advisor of Minority Affairs

Linguistic Minority Forum of Nagaland held an introductory meeting with MLA & Advisor Imkongmar Longkumer on March 30.

Dimapur, March 30 (MExN): The Chairman and Members of Linguistic Minority Forum of Nagaland (LMFN) had an introductory meeting with Imkongmar Longkumer, MLA & Advisor of Minority Affairs & Sericulture Government of Nagaland at his residence on March 30. 
LMFN called upon the Advisor to discuss the activities, existence and aims and objectives of linguistic and religious minorities in Nagaland and had a fruitful discussion, wherein all the issues were heard, minutely, a press release issued by Kabir Chaudhury, General Secretary, LMFN Nagaland stated here.

During the meeting, LMFN Bishnu Bhattacharjee mentioned about peaceful coexistence of Non-Naga communities in Nagaland and discussed thoroughly about some of the deprived minority students, youth, women and widows. He also stressed on important issues related to constitutional rights, schemes and projects under central government for the welfare and development of Minority citizens living permanently in Nagaland.

The Advisor has assured to extend all possible support to minority citizens for the welfare and development in all sectors with the approval of the authority, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Delhi, the Forum stated in their press release. 

Meanwhile, LMFN Chairman, Bishnu Bhattacharjee has also extended Easter Greetings and thanked the Advisor for his support and time to listen the unaddressed issues for the welfare and development of linguistic minority citizens living in Dimapur and had important role to develop a small town Dimapur into a renowned city in Nagaland.
