The road communication along the link road between Lower PWD and Middle Midland to main Town Kohima has been cut off since July 3 after a retaining wall collapsed below UCO Bank.

The Midland Panchayat Kohima has communicated the same to Kohima Deputy Commissioner & District Disaster Management Authority for necessary intervention.

The newly elected councillor from Midland ward 9- Kekhrieselhou Angami (Neiu Metha) today visited the site.

Meanwhile, Midland Panchayat general secretary, Toso Thaprü informed that a social work will be carried out at the site on July 6 from 6 am onwards. Residents of Middle Midland have been requested to join the social work.
