Dimapur, March 12 (MExN): The Superintendent of Excise (Mobile Squad) unit personnel at New Field check gate seized 192 bottles of IMFL on March 11 around 2:00 pm and apprehended one Mutsa Uddin. The accused has been booked under relevant section of the NLTP Act ’89 and the seized article kept in the unit Malkhana. In a press release, Superintendent of Excise (Mobile Squad) Katoho Sumi applauded the personnel for the seizure and encouraged them to step up strict vigil to stop the illegal flow of liquor. He further said that information leading to stock and transportation of illicit liquor/ drugs by bootleggers and smugglers will be highly appreciated, rewarded, and responded to swiftly. In this regard, the public have been requested to cooperate and give resourceful feedback to the unit.
