Morning FC and Unity FC played out an exciting 2-2 draw in today’s fixture of the ongoing Lirunas Presents 10th Morning Premier League (MPL) 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima. Morning FC took the lead in the 13th minute through a fine finish by Shohe. Unity FC responded in the 34th minute with an equalizer from Kekhrie, bringing the score to 1-1 before halftime.
Unity FC gained the upper hand in the second half when Mele found the back of the net in the 67th minute, putting them ahead 2-1. However, Morning FC staged a late comeback, with Aten netting a dramatic equalizer in the 90th minute to level the score once again.
