Dimapur, June 29 (MExN): Little Star Hr Sec School, Dimapur welcomed the Class 11 students on June 26 with Kethosituo Sekhose, Administrator, Kohima Municipal Council as chief guest.
The chief guest said that after Fresher’s Day, the fresher are no longer newcomers but they become a part of the family. “In life there will always be struggles to overcome but if we learn how to say the right things at the right time, God will help us overcome our struggles,” he said.
A press release issued by the Chairperson Nini Sekhose said that every year the school endeavors to bring young achievers as judges for the Fresher’s Day to serve as an inspiration to the students. This year the judges were Medo Putsure, proprietor of Bambusa Chain of restaurants, Visi Rio, proprietor of Kats Collection, wedding dresses and accessories chain, Mengu Suokhrie, singer and artist, Therila Thonger, Coordinator, NIAPA and Moala Vihutuo, coordinator Star Kids.
Miss Congeniality was won by Putusenla of Class 11C while Miss Talent was won by Ngonyu of Class 11A. The title of Miss Fresher 2017 went to Masophy of Class 11C. Mhajani and Kevinu Kechu of Class 11B were placed in the 1st and 2nd runners up respectively. While declaring the winners, Medo Putsure said, “The stage is a monster to many young people, but when this ‘monster’ is conquered, we build confidence and develop self esteem.”
