Phek, May 22 (MExN): The ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) in association with Phek Police and USHA Silai School had conducted livelihood tailoring training from May 11 to 21 at Lozaphuhu village in Phek district. Sewing machines had been provided to the trainees.

This training focused on single mothers who are needy and in search of employment. Women from various villages took part in the program.

Gracing the handing over ceremony of sewing machines to the trainees, Dr Pritpal Kaur, Superintendent of Police, Phek encouraged the participants for dignity of labour, sustainability, marketing and team work. She motivated youth for hard work instead of wrong habits of drugs and other intoxicants.

Rev Father Sivi George delivered welcome address and Rev Fr Roy George Executive Director AIDA spoke on significance of the program. Vote of thanks was proposed by Lawrence.
