LJP (Ram Vilas), NGA condole demise of Khotuoü Liezietsu

Kohima, May 25 (MExN): Leaders and organisations in Nagaland have expressed grief over the demise of Khotuoü Liezietsu, wife of former Nagaland chief minister Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu.

In a condolence message, S Richard Humtsoe, National Secretary of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), described the late Khotuoü Liezietsu as a woman of “grace, humility and quiet strength” who stood steadfastly beside her husband throughout his public life and service to the people of Nagaland.

He said her motherly affection, gentle nature and noble character earned her the admiration and respect of people across the state.

“Her passing is an irreparable loss not only to the bereaved family but also to all whose lives were touched by her kindness, compassion and warmth,” Humtsoe stated.

He extended condolences to Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu and other bereaved family members, and prayed for strength and solace for the family and eternal peace for the departed soul.

The Nagaland Gorkha Association (NGA) also conveyed its condolences to the former chief minister and his family on the demise of Khotuoü Liezietsu at a private nursing home in Guwahati on May 24. 

In a statement, NGA president Nobin Pradhan prayed that God grant the bereaved family strength and comfort to overcome the loss and also prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul.
