Dimapur, November 17 (MExN): Viloto Pukhato has been installed as the new president of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas). He replaces Richard Humtsoe, who has been nominated as National Secretary of the party.
According to a social media update from the party, the installation programme was held at Naithu Resort, Chümoukedima, on November 15, in the presence of National Youth President and Northeast In-charge Pranab Kumar.
The update further claimed that two legislators of LJP (RV) will be nominated as Advisors under the ruling People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) in Nagaland by “December 25.”
The appointment of Pukhato was confirmed via a letter from Abdul Khaliq, National Secretary General of LJP (RV), dated November 14. “We are confident that under your overall supervision and leadership, the party will emerge stronger and expand its base in the state,” it added.
