Dimapur, March 3 (MExN): The Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ram Vilas) today informed that it is yet to make a definite decision regarding the candidature for the upcoming Lok Sabha poll. The party, in consultation with the rank and files, will only be able to come up with a "definite decision for the candidature of the upcoming Lok Sabha poll after thoroughly assessing the larger interest," stated Richard Humtsoe, State President LJP (RV), in reply to a letter to NDPP President Chingwang Konyak.
The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party President, on March 2, had sought "support, solidarity, and participation in the election campaign" of the LJP (RV) after it resolved to unanimously award the party ticket for the ensuing elections for the lone parliamentary seat to the Lok Sabha to Dr. Chumben Murry.
"Therefore, I hope that NDPP leadership shall appreciate the position of LIP (RV) as the party initiates to work on an inclusive democratic decision within at the earliest," Humtsoe added.
