Unity FC registered a commanding 6–3 victory over Nyibon FC in the ongoing Lobenkokba Memorial Morning Champions Cup 2025, played at D. Khel Ground, Kohima on Tuesday.
Unity FC’s Manie netted a hat-trick, scoring in the 13th, 54th, and 80th minutes to lead his team’s attack. Hoinato added two goals in the 23rd and 74th minutes, while Mele contributed with a goal in the 52nd minute to extend Unity’s tally. For Nyibon FC, Ahulo scored a hat-trick, but his efforts were not enough to prevent defeat. The tournament continues with league matches scheduled throughout the week.
