Wokha, November 18 (MExN): The Lotha Middle Range Students’ Union (LMRSU) has called on the Deputy Commissioner of Wokha to address the urgent need for an Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) at Sanis, citing significant administrative disruptions following the transfer of the previous ADC on August 16, 2024. In a representation to the Deputy Commissioner, LMRSU highlighted that the absence of a replacement has caused hardships for the public and stalled developmental projects in the region for over three months.
“We respectfully request your immediate intervention to appoint an ADC at Sanis on or before November 30, 2024. We believe prompt action will significantly benefit governance and service delivery in our region,” stated the LMRSU in the letter. The union cautioned that if the vacancy remains unaddressed beyond the stipulated deadline, it would be compelled to initiate legal action.
