Vanguard FC Old Boys today defeated Mustang FC 4-0 in the opening match of the Lobenkokba Memorial Morning Champions Cup 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima.
Senpelo netted two goals for Vanguard FC Old Boys while Anguzo and Vizelie contributed a goal each.
Meanwhile, the organizer (Morning Football Association) informed the venue of the match has been shifted to D. Khel Ground, Seikhazou, Kohima from July 22.
This tournament, featuring team teams- Vanguard FC Old Boys, Mustang FC, Morung United, Gideon FC, Gethemgo FC, Eagle FC, Unity FC, Morning FC, All Blacks and Nyibon FC, will continue till August 25.
