Dimapur, April 5 (MExN): The DABA YM Duncan Fellowship is organizing a Cyclathon & Walkathon on April 7, 2011, a health awareness programme on account of World Health Day to set an example and to promote these two healthy habits. A press note issued by Imlirenla Imsong, Fellowship secretary, DABAYM Duncan fellowship informed that the event will start off at 5:00 am and the route is as follows: from SM College to City Tower, to DABA Main Church.

Dimapur, April 5 (MExN): Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), Midan Peyu has informed all the general public and business establishment not to entertain any kind of taxation within its jurisdiction without the approval of the Midan Peyu. IVR convenes emergency meet
Dimapur, April 5 (MExN): An emergency meeting of the VCNs and VDBs of Industrial Village Razhuphe is being convened on April 9, 2011 at 8:00 am to discuss about the BPL card within the village for recommendation and renewal of the ration card. A press note issued by Keneingulie, secretary, Village Council, IVR informed that the meeting will be held at the Council Chairman’s residence and so, all the BPL card holders of the village, VCMs and VDBs are requested to attend the meeting without fail.
Election department informs
Dimapur, April 5 (DIPR): The Election Department has informed in a press release that all contesting Candidates for Election to Parliament or Legislative Assemblies will be allowed to appoint an Expenditure Agent in addition to the existing provision of the Election Agent. The release further stated that the Expenditure Agent will assist the contesting Candidate in maintaining and rendering an account of the expenditure on Election. This has been necessitated in view of the Election Commission’s fresh guidelines for closure and better monitoring of Election expenses. This was issued by the Chief Electoral Officer Nagaland J. Alam IAS on April 1, 2011.
