Dimapur, June 10 (MExN): The Chenloisho Village Council (CVC) has informed all the electors of Chenloisho Village under 45 Tehok A/C to attend the 1 phase of Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) photography commencing from June 11 to 17, 2011. Eco-Club GHSS Chumu observes WED
Kohima, June 10 (MExN): The Eco-Club, GHSS Chumukedima has conducted a social work on June 4 in observation of World Environment Day under the theme “Care Our Planet”. Cleaning of the school campus, planting of trees and erection of fences for saplings were undertaken in the social work. Also, Eco-Garden within the School campus was further sanitized and beautified. This was informed in a press note issued by Teacher-In-Charge, GHSS, Chumukedima.

Kohima, June 10 (MExN): The IGNOU Study Centre- 2009/P Kohima will be conducting a 12 day workshop for students of 2010 and 2011 batches from June 15 to 26 at Nagaland College of Teacher Education, Kohima from 9:30 AM onwards. It is mandatory for each trainee to attend the workshop a release received here said and requested all concerned to attend the same without fail.
Orientation training of IPR officials at Mkg
Kohima, June 10 (DIPR): The Department of Information & Public Relations is organising an Orientation training on Communication and Public Relations on June 14 and 15 at Metsüben Hotel (Tourist Lodge) Mokokchung at 9:30 a.m. Parliamentary Secretary for IPR and Economics & Statistics, R. Tohanba will grace the inaugural function as the chief guest. The inaugural function will chair by Deputy Director (IPR), L. Chubalepzuk Ao who will also deliver the welcome address. Additional Director (IPR), Pausui Zeliang will give the keynote address and Deputy Director (IPR), Dzüvinuo Theünuo will deliver the vote of thanks. President of Mokokchung Press Club will speak on Private Media’s inter-relationship with IPR Department.

Kohima, June 10 (MExN): The NMPPB, HCPT & Kohima Municipal Council is jointly organizing one day training on “Slaughter House Improvement for better quality meat & safer environment” on June 14 at the KMC Conference Hall, Kohima starting from 9:00 AM onwards. This was stated in a circular issued by KMC administrator Alun Hangsing.

NBCC organizes Children Music Festival
Dimapur, June 10 (MExN): The Education and Communication Department (NBCC) and Kids Worship Centre has organized a Children Music Festival from July 5-7, 2011 at Dimapur. Evangeline Odyuo, secretary of Education and Communication in a press release stated that the festival is for the children below 14 years of age. The events for the Music Fest will be Solo singing, Keyboard, Violin, Classical Guitar, Drums, Children’s Choir (15 persons only), Creative indigenous instrumental (4 persons only).
