ATMA-Kohima to distribute mobile handsets
Kohima, June 21 (DIPR): Programme for ATMA-Kohima mobile handsets and SIM card distribution to Farmer’s Friend, BTM and SMS-2011 will be held on June 22 at 11 a.m. at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Kohima with Deputy Commissioner & Chairman Governing Board ATMA-Kohima Beiu Angami as the chief guest. According to the programme the keynote address will be given by Additional Director Agriculture & Director SAMETI ATMA, Nagaland, T.V. Holo. The programme will be chaired by District Agriculture Officer and Project Director ATMA-Kohima, Nosezole Zao.
‘Feminisation of HIV’ prog on June 25
vMokokchung, June 21 (DIPR): Additional Chief Secretary & Commissioner Nagaland, Banuo Z. Jamir will inaugurate one day workshop programme on ‘Feminisation of HIV’ as the chief guest at the Cosmos Hall Mokokchung on June 25 at 10 a.m. The workshop is being organised by Watsu Mungdang (Ao Women Association) and sponsored by Nagaland State AIDS Control Society.
Consultative meet on July 7
Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): A consultative meeting on the “Separation of Judiciary from the Executive” has been convened on July 7, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Committee room of the Assembly Secretariat, Kohima. A press note issued by A.E Lotha, secretary, NLA, Kohima stated that the meeting has been convened by Yitachu, parliamentary secretary, Tourism and Justice & law, who is also the Chairman of the Committee. “All the concerned Committee members and departmental representatives are requested to kindly make it convenient to attend the aforesaid meeting,” further stated the note.
LCD announces winners of raffle lucky draw
Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): Lions Club of Dimapur Blue Vanda has announced that the following are the winning ticket numbers of raffle lucky draw held during its Summer Mela: 1st prize- 133, 2nd prize- 273, 3rd prize- 1551. Consolation prize: 1731, 362, 996, 474, 1519. All the prizes should be claimed within seven days from the day of this release. A press note issued by Lions Club of Dimapur Blue Vanda stated that the Summer Mela was organized on June 19, 2011 under the leadership of Khakali Zhimomi and the project chairman Anjali Roy Choudhary. A. Ato Yepthomi, Advisor of NPF & President of NMDA was the chief guest and guest of honor was Tokheli Kikon Advisor of DMC.
NPF Peren div appeals on EPIC
Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): The president of NPF Peren Division Dennis Zeliang has informed both 6th Tening and 7th Peren A/Cs and all the village units, town ward unit presidents and its functionaries of the party to co-operate and assist the photographers to take photograph for implementation of electoral photo identity card (EPIC). The president in a press note also request all political parties and general public irrespective of parties to list out all the missing names of eligible voters, correction of age, and others related problems to forward the same to the concern authority for corrective measure. The political parties are requested to take initiative for the interest of the general voters.
One resigned to support Y Patton
Kohima, June 21 (MExN): In order to strengthen the hand of Y. Patton, parliamentary secretary, Geology & Mining, Irrigation & Flood Control and Border Affairs, and also the DAN government under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland, Zubemo Ngullie, secretary District Youth Congress, Wokha resigned from both primary and active membership of Congress and joined NPF to support Y. Patton under 37th Assembly Constituency with immediate effect along with his followers from Yanthamo village.

Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): SHG federation capacity building programme was held on June 15, 2011 at BSNL Ground Dhansiripar RD Block. The capacity building programme for Village Organization RD Block was organised by SHG Federation RD Block Dhansiripar. 150 delegates attended the programme. The SHG Federation RD Block Dhansiripar invited BDO RD Block Dhansiripar as chief guest and SDO (Civil) RD Block Dhansiripar as guest of honour. Both spoke on the important of forming SHG and prospect of SHG in the villages.
