CSUK Golden jubilee on Sept 22

Kohima, September 21 (MExN):
The Chakhesang students’ union Kohima (CSUK) informed that its 50th Golden anniversary celebration is scheduled to b held on 22 September at cultural Arena, Kisama with Chief Minister Nagaland as the chief guest. Its publicity & information secretary has directed all its bonafied members from all the colleges and schools to compulsory attend the celebration and besides the students are also requested to bear the responsibility to bring themselves with their own umbrellas for weather protection. Also the students are requested to reach their respective picking point junction at 8.00 am sharp. The pick up points are high school, Tinpati, Razhu point, TCP gate, BOC and Don Bosco junction. It added that any students failing to attend the celebration shall be take disciplinary action.
 
1st Youth Leaders Connect Conference

Dimapur, September 21 (DIPR):
The YouthNet held a press conference at Dream Café on September 21, 2011 for the 1st Youth Leaders Connect Conference under the theme ‘Connect, Exchange, Strengthen’ to be held on October 3, 2011 at Kohima. The conference will be organised by YouthNet and sponsored by Government of Nagaland. The main objectives of the conference is to build up the young talents through exposure, exchange of ideas and network to other people. The highlight of the programme will be delivering on different topics with panel discussion. The press conference was addressed by Director YouthNet Hekani Jakhalu, Programme Officer Joshua Sheqi, and Lezo Putsure and Esther Swüro, Programme Coordinators.

Retirement of Govt Servant after date of superannuation

Dimapur, September 21 (DIPR):
In an office memorandum, the Chief Secretary to the Government of Nagaland Lalthara has stated that a number of cases has come up to the notice of the Government regarding regularisation of overstay period in Government Service beyond the date of superannuation. In this regard, the Departemnt of P&AR has issued in an OM dated 7th April 1993 are very explicit and it is reiterated that both the Department and individual are to know the date of superannuation and instruction in this regard has been issued by the Government and lack of knowledge by the officer or the department cannot be considered as valid excuse. All Heads of Departments are requested to ensure that official retire on due date of superannuation and stated that no ex-post facto approval for extension of service will be entertained by the Government. The loss on account of delay in superannuation on the account will have to be born by the department concerned.
                                                                                               
PSA convene consultative meeting

Phek Village, September 21 (MExN):
The first consultative meeting of all the Phek Sports Association (PSA) Golden Jubilee Celebration Committee(s) and Sub-Committee(s) will be held on September 24 at the PSA Rostrum by 10.00 am sharp. According to a press note issued by PSA President, Muramo S.Venuh, besides the official agenda(s), financial position for the forthcoming celebration scheduled by 2012 shall be seriously dealt with. Hence, all the Committee(s) and Sub-Committee(s) members are asked to attend the meeting positively.

ENSU Kohima College session on Sept 24

Kohima, September 21 (MExN):
The first freshers’ & general session of Eastern Naga Students’ Union, Kohima College Kohima will be held on September 24 at 10:00 am under the theme “Student- an agent of change.” The programme will take place at the conference hall of DUDA Guest House, Kohima. Wennyei Konyak, NCS, SDO Civil Sadar, Kohima will be the chief guest while Throngso Yimchunger, speaker Eastern Naga Students’ Federation will be the guest of honour. The Union requested all the bonafide members of ENSU, KCK to come before 9:30 without fail. This was stated in a release issued by ENSU, KCK president I.T. Soted Chang and general secretary Mankap.

One day orientation programme

Kohima, September 21 (MExN):
The State Adoption Resource Agency (SARA) unit under the state Child protection society Nagaland organizes a one day orientation programme on adoption and non-institutional care on adoption on September 23 at Zonal Council Hall, Kohima from 9-3.30 pm with Parliamentary secretary, social welfare & Women development as the chief guest. The programme us sponsored by Central adoption Resource authority (CARA), an autonomous body under the Ministry of child and women development working as a nodal body in the matter of adoption in the country.

MSU first Union Assembly on Sept 24

Dimapur, September 21 (MExN):
Deputy Speaker, MSU has informed that Mesulumi Students Union will hold its first Union Assembly at its Treasurer residence, Lower Jail Colony Kohima on September 24, at 10:00 am. Therefore all executive members are requested to bring agenda and are to attend the meeting without fail where there will be an attendance.

ASUK Students day cum general conference

Kohima, September 21 (MExN):
The Ao students’ Union, Kohima (ASUK) would organize its Students’ day cum General conference on 1 October at State Academy Hall, Kohima. Union Information & Publicity Secretary ASUK Kongie Ozukum in a press release has informed that students from class 7 and above are compulsory to attend the programme. It further informed the federating unit president to submit the membership by 24 September and also name and documents of the students who are eligible for meritorious award.

KSUK general session on Sept 24

Kohima, September 21 (MExN):
The Kikruma Students’ Union Kohima (KSUK) will be holding its 31st general session-cum-freshers’ social meet on September 24 at Mt. Sinai Higher Secondary School Auditorium Hall, Kohima under the theme “Towards broader perspective.” Lhoutsolo Koza, PSA to Deputy chairman State Planning Board will grace the occasion as the chief guest. The Union invited all the students in and around Kohima, pioneers, senior citizens and well wishers to the programme.

ASBPF biannual session

Kohima, September 21 (MExN):
The All Sumi Baptist Pastor Fellowship will organize its biannual session at Khehokhu Baptist Akukuhou Dimapur for October 14-16 under the theme “Healing our society”. All the office bearers and executive members are requested to reach Akukuhou on 13 October, also the all the pastors under SBC to attain the session positively. This has been notified through après release issued by its general secretary Ativi N. Assumi.
