‘Measles catch up campaign’ from February 6

Phek, January 31 (MExN):
“Measles catch up campaign” will be conducted in Phek district from February 7 to 26 as per information of Ministry of Health & Family welfare GOI. In this connection, the Chief Medical Officers Phek in a press release has requested all the health workers to remain in their respective working place and perform their duty sincerely. Further it is inform that leave of any kind will not be granted to any staff during this period unless on medical ground.

‘Oldest Sumi’ passes away

Dimapur, January 31 (MExN):
Reportedly the oldest Sumi, Hevikhe Yepthomi son of Hezukhu Yepthomi, founder member of Zunheboto Town, expired today. Sumi Hoho General Secretary, Kitoho S. Rotokha in a press release informed that Late Hevikhe Yepthomi was born in the year 1897 and died on January 31 at 1:30 pm at his residence at Zunheboto Town. His funeral Service will be held on February 1, at 11:00 am at his residence at Hev’s Farm, Zunheboto.

SCERT informs

Kohima, January 31 (MExN):
The State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT) Nagaland, Kohima informed all the CPTE, ECCE 5th batch, ELTI 2nd batch and back paper candidates that the results has been already declared. The results can be had from the respective institutions, according to a release issued by Vipralhou Kesiezie, director SCERT, Nagaland.

Bharat Parikram in Kohima

Kohima, January 31 (MExN):
A good number of youth from different parts of the country are currently in Kohima as part of Bharat Parikram programme. The team interacted with Neingulo Krome, NMHR, Nagaland this evening followed by cultural night. On February 1, the team will be visiting historical places, war cemetery, state museum, WW II tank etc. The team will also interact with Governor Nikhil Kumar. On February 2, the team will have trekking to Shürho mountain, interaction with Neiketu Iralu, Trustee of Initiative of Change.
