DPDB Zbto meeting on Feb 8

Zunheboto, February 2 (DIPR):
The monthly District Planning and Development Board meeting for Zunheboto district has been fixed on February 8. The DPDB meeting will be held at Satakha Town Hall. All the Heads of Offices under Zunheboto district are requested to attend the meeting without fail.

DRFCB meeting on Feb 5

Dimapur, February 2 (MExN):
The Dhansiri River Flood Control Board (DRFCB) has convened a general meeting on February 5 at 10:00 am at its office. The meeting will discuss the selection of new team of DRFCB for the tenure of 2011-15. Therefore, all the office bearers, executive members are requested by the Board chairman to attend the meeting without fail.

Mon DPDB meeting on Feb 7

Mon, February 2 (MExN):
The Monthly Mon District planning & Development Board meeting for the month of February will be held on 7th at 11:00 am in the DC Conference hall, Mon. All board members are requested to attend the meeting without fail.

NSAMB meeting postponed

Dimapur, February 2 (MExN):
Members of the Committee for Post Creation under Nagaland State Agriculture Marketing Board (NSAMB) are informed that due to unavoidable circumstances, meeting of the committee scheduled on February 4 is postponed. The same will be held on February 5 from 11:00 am at the NSAMB Office Complex, NE Expo Site, Dimapur. All members are requested to attend the meeting personally.

Zila Sainik Welfare Dimapur informs

All ex-servicemen and widows pensioners of Defence are informed to collect KYC compliance form from their respective bank branch where they are drawing their pension for completion. This was informed in a press release issued by office of the Welfare Organisation, Zila Sainik Welfare, Dimapur.

 46 A/C Mon NPF party welcomes

Dimapur, February 2 (MExN):
The 46 Assembly constituency NPF party welcomes the joining of Congress Party workers from Chi Village under 46 A/C Mon town. A pres note issued by Y. Tingtong Konyak, president stated that the resigned members is led by K. Nanwang, vice-president VCC (I) and Photem Konyak, treasurer VCC (I) along with 68 household.  “In their resignation, they state that they have joined the NPF party to work under the able leadership of Neiphiu Rio, Chief minister of Nagaland and Dr. Shurhozelie, president of Naga People Front and also state that they will fully support N. Thongwang Konyak ex. NPF candidate in the next general election 2013 under 46 A/C Mon town,” further stated the note.

‘Rhythms & Reasons’ poetry book launched

Dimapur, February 2 (MExN):
A poetry book titled ‘Rhythms & Reasons’ authored by E. Edeth Maria Garzia was launched today at Delhi Public School. Garzia is a former student of DPS Dimapur. Launching the book in the School premises as a symbol of encouragement for other students, DPS Dimapur principal Arunjit Singh Dhindsa invited Noel Manuel, the publisher of the book for the event.  In his brief introduction of the book, Dhindsa said that it was an outstanding achievement of Edeth Maria Garszia and it should serve as a good encouragement to the student community to follow her steps.  The book is being jointly released by Oxford Bookstore Chennai and Dimension Publishing Dimapur on February 7 at Chennai.
