ANTA informs

Kohima, February 5 (MExN):
The president of All Nagaland Taxi Association informed all private vehicles owners and drivers to stop operating/plying as private taxis in the state. It also informed that action will be taken against such defaulting private vehicles as per the earlier decision of the Association. Further, all the district unit presidents have been directed to take action against such defaulters plying in their respective districts. Henceforth, the owners of all the private vehicles plying as taxis will be doing so at their own risks, a release received here said today.

Zunheboto DPDB meet postponed

Kohima, February 5 (MExN):
The Zunheboto DPDB meeting scheduled for February 8 stands postponed to February 15 owing to prior engagement of members for attending legislative members meeting at Kohima at Tourist Traditional Satakha at 11:00 AM. All the members have been requested to take note of the same and attend the meeting positively.

Health Minister convenes LFA meet

Kohima, February 5 (MExN):
Minister for health & family welfare Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu has convened an executive meeting of the Legislators’ Forum on AIDS- Nagaland on February 8 at 9:30 AM instead of 11:00 AM in the committee room of the Assembly Secretariat, Kohima. The meeting will deliberate on achievements of LFA and ongoing programmes for the current year. All the executive members have been requested to attend the same.

Mobile Water Testing Lab inauguration

Dimapur, February 5 (MExN):
The Mobile Water Testing Laboratory will be inaugurated on February 8 at 10:00 am at the PHE Central Store Office premises at Supply Colony, Dimapur. Dr. Nganshi K. Ao, Minister PHE Nagaland will grace the function as the chief guest while Zhaleo Rio, IAS, secretary to the Government of Nagaland, PHED will be the chairman. Brief report on the Mobile Water Testing Laboratory will be given by Er. Mhondamo Ovung, chief engineer, PHE, Nagaland. The inauguration will be followedc by a two day’s training on Water Testing which will be conducted by Transchem Agri Tech Ltd.

YouthNet 5th anniversary

Kohima, February 5 (MExN):
The YouthNet will be celebrating its 5 anniversary on February 7 at 6 PM at The Heritage, Old DC Bungalow, Kohima. In commemoration of the completion of five years, YouthNet Opportunity Express will be launched by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
