Ritse has informed all the concern that as per the direction of the Government, the Teachers Recruitment Examination has been rescheduled to February 28 at Government Higher Secondary School, Mon. All candidates are requested to set for the recruitment examination as rescheduled above.

Dimapur, February 28 (MExN): The Eastern Bible College in a press note has corrected that “first Dimapur Enter-Bible Colleges & Seminaries Sports meet” should be read as “37th annual sports 2011 of Eastern Bible College.” This was informed in a press note issued by Rev Thebem Yantha, Director of Sports.
Firing practice at Phek
Phek, February 28 (DIPR): The unit of 5th Nagaland Armed Police (NAP) battalion, Phek will carry out firing practice with effect from March 5 at 7.00 Am onward in the unit firing range in connection with the forthcoming Raising Day-cum- Inter-Company Sports Meet 2011. Therefore all public and nearby villagers are requested not to go near the firing range or let lose any domesticated animals at the firing area. The order was issued by 5th NAP Commandant, Phek.
KWO meeting on March 6
Phek, February 28 (DIPR): The Kuzhami Welfare Organization (KWO), Phek Town will hold a general meeting on March 6 at Town Hall, Phek at 10.00 AM. Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Kuzholuzo Nienu will be the guest speaker while Phek Deputy Commissioner, Mikha Lomi and Phek Supt. of Police, Wetshope Krome will also speak in the general meeting. Secretary Publicity & Information, Kuzhami Welfare Organization, Phek Town has therefore requested all Kuzhami members to attend the meeting.
NPBCA informs on training
Dimapur, February 28 (MExN): The Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association (NPBCA) pastors’ conference shall have disaster management training at Nagaland Home Guard and civil defence center, Tuluvi, Dimapur on March 8-10. NPBCA executive secretary, Rev Dr. N Mong Lotha in a press release has asked all the pastors and associate pastors to attend the training compulsory. They are also asked to inform of their positive response to the concern commanding officer as early as possible. Food and accommodation are free of cost while churches are asked to bear their to and fro expenses.
VYO prohibits hunting
Kohima, February 28 (MExN): The Viswema Youth Organization has imposed prohibition on hunting within Viswema village jurisdiction as directed by Angami Youth Organization (AYO) with effect from March 1 to December 31, 2011. This was stated in a release issued by VYO president Meyiekül Noswe.

Zbto task force meeting held
Zunheboto, February 28 (DIPR): The District Task Force of Zunheboto district meeting was held at DC’s chamber on February 25 with Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, T. Kiheto Sema. In the meeting District Immunization Officer, Dr. Alemwabang Aier highlighted the programme of Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) 2011 and discussed the matters regarding to 2nd round of IPPI-2011 under Zunheboto district, followed by interaction with D.C. The meeting was attended by government officials from concerned department, Police department and representative from school education.
