Randomization of polling personal

Mokokchung, April 25 (DIPR):
The 2nd Level Randomization-Polling Group formation for conducting By-election to 26th Aonglenden Assembly Constituency will be held on April 29, 2011, at 2:00 p.m at NIC Mokokchung while the 3rd Level Randomization-Allocation of polling Stations will be taken up on May 6, 2011, at 8:00 a.m in the same venue. Deputy Commissioner & Returning Officer, Mokokchung, Lithrongla G. Chishi informed all Political Parties, Candidates and Agents to attend/detail their representatives to observe the process of Randomization of Polling Personnel.

SOUD special prayer session on April 26

Dimapur, April 25 (MExN):
The Sumi Officers’ Union Dimapur (SOUD) has requested all its contingent members to attend the special prayer session on April 26 from 10:00 am -12:00 am at Trinity Theological College, Thahekhu, Dimapur. SOUD president Hoyivi Awomi in a press release stated that the special prayer session is organised by the Sumi Ordained Ministers for all the Sumi Officers including the Legislators. Hence, all the designated officers are informed to positively attend and extend cooperation.  

DC Mkg exhort ATMA members

Mokokchung, April 25 (DIPR):
In celebration of their achievement for Best ATMA District Award 2009-10 and Best Presentation on January 26, 2011, the Agriculture Technology Management Agency, Mokokchung held a social meet-cum-feast at the DC’s bungalow on April 23, 2011. Deputy Commissioner & Chairperson ATMA GB, Mokokchung, Lithrongla G. Chishi speaking on the occasion thanked the ATMA Official, Block Level Workers and the farmers for the achievements saying that ‘God will bless where there is coordination among the people’. Lithrongla said that the ATMA, Mokokchung could not have achieved anything had they not put their heads together and contributed their efforts. She also urged all the members of ATMA to give their best efforts without breaking stride so as to achieve more in future as well.

NGTC meeting on April 30

Dimapur, April 25 (MExN):
The Nagaland Garo Tribal Council (NGTC), Dimapur has informed the Garo residents of Dimapur district that the general public meeting will be held on April 30, 10:00 am at Garo Baptist Church compound, Eralibil Village. The meeting will discuss various agenda pertaining to the Garo tribe of Nagaland, informed a press release issued by the council general secretary Budin Momin. Therefore, all the executive members of the NGTC, other Garo civil bodies, Garo GBs, Garo VCMs and Garo community leaders are requested to attend the same positively.

NPF member resigns

Dimapur, April 25 (MExN):
The Vice President, Farmers’ Wing, NPF Phek Division Thuputhiyi S. Venuh of Phek village has resigned from the post and also from both primary and active membership of NPF with effect from April 18, 2011. He has also resigned from the post of President, Phek Wrestling Association. Informing this in a press release, Venuh added, “Looking at the poor performance of the Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Kuzholuzo Nienu, there’s no hope for him to win in the next general election. Therefore, having lost confidence in him I have tendered my resignation.”

State to participate in NE region annual conference

Dimapur, April 25 (MExN):
The 13th annual conference of the North East Region Commonwealth Parliamentary Association will be held at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh from April 27-30. The Nagaland team includes Kiyanilie Peseyie, speaker, NLA, Deo Nukhu, MLA, KV Pusa, MLA, CM Chang, MP and AE Lotha, Secretary and other senior officers from Nagaland Legislative Assembly. During the conference tow vital topics are enlisted for discussion, viz “Financial Autonomy of the Legislative Assembly Secretariat adhering to the provision of the Constitution of India” and “Legislative Audit interface.” Speaker, Lok Sabha will be the chief guest of the conference.

Tsg Registered Co-operative Societies notified

Dimapur, April 25 (MExN):
All the Registered Co-operative Societies under office of the ARCS, Tuensang district are informed that those socities which have not audited their books of accounts for more than five years and above, are hereby informed to contact B. Buno Khiamiungan, assistant registrar of cooperative societies, Tuensang or Inspector for auditing.  A press note issued by B. Buno Khiamiungan, ARCS Tuensang stated that those Registered Societies failing to comply with this notification shall lead to cancellation of their Society Registration.
