Western Sumi Hoho informs
Dimapur, April 26 (MExN): The Western Sumi Hoho has informed that a joint meeting will be held with all the head GBs, all area chairman and secretaries, WSH executive members, advisors, planning and finance committee, editorial board, all other sub-committees of Western Sumi Phuthekuwo Centenary, all Western Sumi Frontal Organisation etc. The meeting will be held at Western Sumi Hoho office, Chekiye on April 30 at 10:00 am. All the concerned are requested to attend the thanksgiving service for successful centenary celebration held on February 11, 2011. This was informed in a press release issued by Western Sumi Hoho, general secretary Vikato Shikhu.
Spring Concert on April 30
Dimapur, April 26 (MExN): The department of Music, Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) will be organising Spring Concert featuring the Patkai Chorale on April 30 at 2:00 pm in the Bundrock Chapel, auditorium. PCC Music Director Mrs Margaret Shishak while extending invitation has also informed that a free will offering will be collected.
NNC mourns
Dimapur, April 26 (MExN): NNC has conveyed condolence on the demise of Lakhum Yimchungru who was a pioneer in the struggle for freedom of the Naga people. NNC Working President, Gen (Retd) I. Panger Walling in a condolence message said that he did his part as a fighter and stood for NNC throughout his lifetime. He was once the Vice President of NNC during my termed of office. “We lost o dedicated NNC worker. May the good Lord give him rest and peace,” the Council further added.
