Heno will inaugurate the La-ang Riverine Fishery Project on May 27 at 9:00 AM at the project site, Pangsha village, Noklak sub-division, Tuensang. Kohima, May 26 (MExN): The Kirhazoumia Khel and Pavomia Khel, Viswema will be conducting a mass social social work on May 28 at Yoba Dzüle (Viswema). Stating this in a release, PYS president Evül Phiyie and KYS president Mayo Vitsu requested all the bonafide members to attend the same without fail.

Kohima, May 26 (MExN): In view of the forthcoming NBCC 75 Years Celebration 2012, a meeting is convened by the NBCC on June 10 in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima at 2:00 PM. In this regard, all the colony panchayat chairman and GBs under Kohima town have been informed to attend the said meeting. Mokokchung, May 26 (DIPR): A one-day workshop on disabilities organized by the Forum For Special People, Care & Support Society, Mokokchung will be held at Longkumer Kilem, Sangtemla ward, Mokokchung on May 28 from 9:00 am onwards. Resource persons at the workshop include DWO Mokokchung, T. Imkong Longkumer, Pastor MTBA, Rev. Ponen and Thomas from Guardian Angel Dimapur. The resource persons will dwell on topics related to people with disabilities and their rights, facilities, the role of church, prevention, care and treatments which will be followed by group discussion.

Kohima, May 26 (MExN): The first introductory meeting of the Assembly Library Committee (2011-2012) has been fixed on May 30 at 11:00 AM in the Assembly Committee Hall, Kohima. BLO training held at Zunheboto
Zunheboto, May 26 (DIPR): Training for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) was held at the DC’s Conference Hall on May 25 at Zunheboto. Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, T. Kiheto Sema in his address said that the training is being organised for functioning of appointed BLOs/BLAs and to ensure fidelity of electoral rolls in Nagaland as per guidelines given by the Election Commission of India for defect free electoral rolls. EAC Zunheboto, Zakaho Sumi briefed on duties and responsibilities of BLOs and also explained about the preparation of photo identity cards and photo electoral rolls. All teachers under Zunheboto appointed as BLO/BLA attended the training.
