Local vegetables weekly sales in Kohima Local Ground

Kohima, September 8 (MExN): The Angami Youth Organization (AYO) and Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) have initiated a provisional market place for weekly sales of local vegetables and other commodities on every Wednesday at Kohima Local Ground (North Gate).

This marketplace start from 6:00 am onwards.

The initiative is intended to promote local produce and products with focus on its promotion to generate and establish a sustainable local economy with the theme “Go Organic, Buy Local.”

All the vendors have been asked to wear glove and mask.

Visitors have also been requested to wear mask.
