Tuensang, June 17 (MExN): A team of Nagaland Health Mission (NHP) under Directorate of Health & Family Welfare conducted training on Logistics & Supply Chain Management for all the pharmacists, vaccinators, and nurses who are in-charge of stock under 56 health units of Department of Health & Family Welfare, Tuensang district on June 14 at CMO conference hall, Tuensang.
The team comprised of Dr. Atoshe Sema, Joint Director Cum Project Director (NHP), Dr. Longai Phom, Deputy Director, CMS DHS, and Manen, Consultant NHP. Dr. Atoshe Sema informed all the participants to maintain records in black and white and also stressed that maintaining proper record keeping is the wisest way for future reference, stated a press release.
Dr. Atoshe Sema and Manen, who were the resource persons, highlighted the challenges and gaps in the present management system in Nagaland and also trained the participants on procurement, distribution, maintenance, and stock management. The training ended with practical session followed by distribution of asset logistics to all the health units.
