The medical board comprised of SDO (C) & ARO, R. Daniel Angami; SMO, Dr Kerekugumle; MO, Dr Pelekhonuo and CDPO, R Chirhotshu Nyusou. Kohima, April 4 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Kohima Kumar Ramnikant has informed all the officials/staffs appointed as polling personnel in connection with the upcoming General Election to the 18th Lok Sabha, 2024 that the second round of training for presiding officers, 1st polling officers, 2nd polling officers and 3rd polling officers for 8 Western Angami AC, 9 Kohima Town AC and 10 Northern Angami-I AC will be held on April 5, 10:00 am at Kohima College, Billy Graham Road.

For the presiding officers, 1st polling officers, 2nd polling officers and 3rd polling officers of 11 Northern Angami-II AC, 14 Southern Angami-I AC and 15 Southern Angami-II AC, the training is scheduled on April 6 at 10:00 am at Kohima College, Billy Graham Road.
The order further directed all the concern polling officials to take note of the date and attend the training without fail to avoid disciplinary action.
Mokokchung: DC & DEO of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji has informed that the 2nd phase training of all polling personnel have been scheduled on April 5 and 6.
Training for president officers (both male & female) will be conducted on April 5 from 9:30 am onwards and for first polling officers (both male & female) training will start from 12:00 noon at GHSS, Mayangnokcha, Mokokchung.
Training of second and third polling officers (both male & female) will be conducted on April 6 from 10:00 am at GHSS Mayangnokcha, Mokokchung.
All polling personnel have been informed to submit form-12A along with a photocopy of EPIC card/service ID card for availing election duty certificate. Any person who has failed to submit two passport photographs in the first phase of training may also submit the same for election duty ID Card.
Furthermore, all the concerned departmental nodal officers have been directed to inform all requisitioned officials of their respective departments regarding the aforementioned training schedule. Strict action shall be initiated against absentees as per Section 134 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
Meanwhile, the DC and DEO Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji has informed all polling personnel requisitioned that a Facilitation Centre shall be made operational from April 8 from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Conference Room, 1st floor, office of Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung for training of officials who required hand-on training/doubt clearing sessions and all those polling personnel who fail to clear the evaluation test.
All polling officials have been advised to make use of the facility to ensure that no errors are made in the assigned duty on the day of the poll.
Zunheboto: Zunheboto DEO and DC, Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS has issued poll related trainings for parliamentary election 2024 in respect of Zunheboto district from April 8 onwards.
The trainings will be conducted in the given schedules: Second randomization of EVM/VVPAT and training for poll bound micro observers (1st round) -April 8 at DC conference hall at 11:00 am; Postal vote casting and counting personal and counting micro observers (1st round) training-April 10 at DC conference hall at 11:00 am; Second Phase training for selected polling personnel-April 12 at Town Hall starting at 9:00 am; Training for poll bound micro observers second round-April 15 DC conference hall at 11:00 am; 3rd phase training for selected polling personal-April 16 at town hall starting at 9:30 am; 3rd and final round of polling personal (PS wise) in presence of general observer-April 17 at town hall starting at 9:30 am; Date of polling-April 19.
Noklak: DC & DEO Noklak, Arikumba has informed all the Government employees drafted for polling duty under Noklak Election District, the second phase training will be conducted from 10:00 am onwards on April 9 at GHSS, Noklak. All concerned have been asked to be present without fail.
Mon: In view of the upcoming General Election to the Lok Sabha 2024, DC & DEO Mon Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS has informed that the training of operators for webcasting/offline videography will be held on April 8 at 10:00 am at Government Higher Secondary School, Mon. Therefore, all the BLOs/Operators of the identify polling stations for webcasting/offline videography have been informed to attend the training without fail.
