Tuensang, September 22 (MExN): The month long celebration of Rashtriya Poshan Maah under Longkhim project held an ‘Adequate nutrition during COVID-19’ seminar at DUDA Hall, Longkhim town on September 21.
During the programme, Dr Taka, SMO, Longkhim, emphasized on the theme and highlighted the importance of proper nutrition. The official also said that various types of nutritious foods are available in our own kitchens, and as such, called on the attendees to ensure proper nutrition for all. Kikumsungla Jamir, ADC, Longkhim commented on the works of the Department of Social Welfare and stated that such programmes will benefit people, especially during a pandemic.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Phungpila K Sangtam, Supervisor, ICDS Project while the welcome note was addressed by C Tsalito, CDPO. COVID-19 standard operating procedures were followed during the programme.
